Ok, here we go.  For the past week and a half I have been teaching myself how to do the new-age Math that my tween is learning.  Or should I say….TRYING to learn??  It’s crazy stuff like finding the slope and y-intercept of a line, finding the rise and run of a flight of stairs…

REALLY USELESS IMPORTANT STUFF!!

Go!  Link up with Supah and have an awesome day!!

Actually, I will need it in a few years when my guy gets to be a tween. You can laugh at me then :)

LOL. Thanks for the laugh! I was never good in math and it shows when I try to help my niece with homework.

Oh gosh, slope is the WORST! Hahah.
And I totally love Jillian. That woman isn't large, but man, she is SO in charge. I guess there's a new show where she comes and lives with you for like two weeks and gets your ass in shape. I can't wait for it!

Don't hate on me but I LOVED this stuff. For the first time with math, I did really well. I could look at a line and figure the integers (or what ever they are called). Loved it! Don't remember much about it beyond that! LOL! Real useful stuff, huh?

I have just started to tell my daughter is she "yo-yo" "You're on your own!" Haha. But I like the way you taught it. Effective and tasty too.

As for Jillian or whatever her name is, I would just sit my fat ass on her. HAHAHA

OMG...I am cracking up b/c I am an Algebra teacher...my kids always ask me when they're going to have to use this crap. Then I ask them what they want to be when they grow up...they typically have not thought past lunch, so I get some inane answer.

I always revert to the fact that Algebra is training their puny little brains to solve problems in a logical way...because who doesn't need that skill as an adult?

BTW...the waffle thing? BRILLIANT!
